First you must realize that life is not fair. We live in a society with limited resources and an even more limited memory. I am appalled whenever someone abuses a child or animal, for that matter any person. Sometimes when this happens it is because the jails are over crowded and it is let out the dog abuser or let out Drug Dealer. My heart bleeds for you, and I am not sure this is justice, but unless you can get everyone to happily increase the taxes or decrease the rights of defendants in court, it all we have.
