I am sole beneficiary of my parents' estate; do I have to pay for their funeral if I don't want to, in UK?

Before you get your hands on the estate, you will have to prove probate, and before that the burials will have had to have taken place, (unless you want to pay to keep them in cold storage) the funeral directors will make sure to be paid for out of the estate... so basically, its out of your hands
