Pive immunity is different from active immunity because pive immunity?

D. uming you meant to type "involves." Pive immunity is acquired pively, that is, you don't make it yourself - it's given to you. Immunoglobulin is an example of this (there aren't that many, really - active is much more common). Active immunity is immunity that you make actively. That is, you get exposed to something (either a germ or a vaccine) and that makes your body produce immunity. It's active because you made it.
