I want to go back to school ...but it's so much money!?

I want to go back to school ...but it's so much money!? I was wondering if maybe you had any advice or suggestions. So I wanna be an illustrator. There is this school I want to go to in Anaheim called New Horizon Computer learning center. Its basically all computer graphic based school. It's an 8 month course & then I get certified ...its around $8-9,000 for the program. Problem is I can barely afford to live as it is. Im a 24yr old hispanic female living on my own making $9/hour living in OC ca! Where can I go to get financial aid or do they even offer help for a school like that? I already went to see the school & one of the counselors sent me this program to get financial help & they never said anything useful. Anything you have will mos def be appreciated... thank you for your time :)
