Our eyes get teary whenever we yawn...Why?

well, if you're like me you shut your eyes tight when you yawn. this squeezes the lacrimal gland which is where tears come from. you can do the same thing without yawning just buy squeezing your eyes shut for a few seconds. you'll notice that a little moisture comes out from the inside corner (near your nose) of your eye because this is where the tear duct resides.
