Isn't this something my dad should have kept private?

Okay, I am mortified from church today. I am 14. There is always a coffee social after the service and some other adults were telling my parents that I am very polite and respectful and they should be proud of me. Seems very nice, however, then my dad who seems to enjoy embarring me is like "Tamara is usually very well behaved but she can be a real stinker and always is more respectful after she's just had her rear end whooped, although I don't have to do it too often anymore". I got so red and was too embarred and too mad to talk. He then starts telling them that I back talked my mom earlier this week, he whooped me and how he told them I am not allowed to go horse back riding this weekend and have to write an essay on why respecting my mom is important. Then they were like "oh that is such a great idea, I'd love to read that essay" and my dad asked me how it was going, so I was like fine, and he said "you'd better have done tonight if you want to ride next weekend"
