Is it common for morning sickness to begin at 9 weeks?

I've recently begun being so nauseous that I've had the urge to throw up. I can't move and sometimes it affects my breathing. I know it's wrong, but I can't throw up on my own, so I have to stick my fingers down my throat to start it, after that I throw up alot. Usually a lot of stomach bile too, and through my nose. It's not pleasant, but I have to work, and unless I throw up, I'm useless. Can I be harming my baby by doing this :( I eat alot, and at night time I'm alot less nauseous, and I eat alot then. Also, I have gained 4 pounds already! Thanks
