Appendicitis with lyme disease?

I don't know anything about Lyme disease but I have had an appendectomy. The symptoms you described sound like appendicitis but if it was for just one night, I'm not sure if that's what it could be or not. I don't remember feeling any pain when my appendix were about to rupture but I definitely felt it after they did. The appendix is very serious & needs to be checked out as soon as possible! It can be fatal if left untreated too long. I'm lucky to even be alive b/c mine had ruptured almost 2 weeks before I found out. So you definitely need to get it checked out!

Okay, I am mortified from church today. I am 14. There is always a coffee social after the service and some other adults were telling my parents that I am very polite and respectful and they should be proud of me. i just had the best birth experience ever, a week ago i got a c-section and was in labor for 13 hours prior to the delivery, but the pain was not bad at all if i could go back in time i'd go back to the second my water broke. but a day after the c-sect, my doc was giving me stool softeners then two days later i was able to poop with no problem but i didn't have the urge to poop before that but 4 days after being home i found i was having pains in my rectum realizing i cant poop it is somewhat painful it feels like sharp cramps in my . what could that be?

23 month old is not talking?

My toddler refuses to talk. He'll say words here and there but not all the time. I had a bad childhood, parents quarreling alwys, mom too busy with priorities, dad ignoring me, etc. It was a joint family,aunt and uncle were not good to me though (i still dont know the reason y). When i grew up a bit, i realized that things are not going the way it should be with me. I shifted to a new indepdent house with parents and then on felt better. Now, its kinda stuck in my head. Always wonder what to say when my friends talk about sweet memmories of thier childhood. My husband has abandoned me and our 2 boys....................?

He left for a job, which expected him to go out of state. Its hard to get a job as a skydiving pilot especialy here in Florida, which he hates, so he felt he had no choice. Is something wrong with my California Kingsnake?

Cal Kings can have a strong feeding response. I don't feed any of my snakes by hand. I only use tongs as they will nail your fingers every time. Defensive strikes to the hand aren't unusual and kingsnakes are known for aggressiveness. If you're feeding once a week, that should be sufficient. Kings are not my favorite species as they tend to be aggressive and when they aren't biting, they are musking or crapping on you. I've had a kingsnake for 3 years and he still musks and poops on you when you take him out. It's possible that your snake is going into shed and that tends to make them tense and aggressive as well. I suspect that he will be going into blue soon and after he sheds he'll go back to eating and won't be as aggressive. During the period of blue, make sure you bump up the humidity a bit by either misting the cage once a day, or offering a moist hide for him to go in. Also make sure that you have several hides so that he feels secure.

Need help naming song - asian lyrics, female vocals, very early 90s?

The song may have been Japanese, but i can't be sure. I know it was in an Asian language, with female vocals. I believe it became somewhat popular in the states in the early 90s. I first heard it on alternative radio, I think Q -101 or WXRT, both are Chicago radio stations. I later seen the video on MTV of this band doing the song in question. If I remember correctly, it was 1 female and 2 males. I think the video was in B & W. Both guys in the video had thick gles, a sort of geek like appeal to it, much like the video by The Rentals, "Friends of P" or Boggle's, "Video Killed The Radio Star"...MTV even used parts of the song in some commercials for it's extreme sports segments. Today my mom and I noticed our cat is acting different. She can't keep her ears perky, instead they're sort of flat. picture a gremlin - that's how her ears are sitting. She keeps shaking her head too, and won't let anyone touch her ears. A few nights ago and a little bit today she was coughing/sneezing while trying to sleep. How long for early lyme detection symptoms to clear?

I began having a bulls-eye rash and lyme disease symptoms (flu-like, mentally spacey and forgetful, moody, reallllly tired) about 10 days after I theorize I was bit by a tick (never saw the tick.) After going to 2 doctors I was diagnosed with lyme and given 6 weeks of antibiotics. What I want to know is how long should I be feeling sick? I'm 2 weeks into my antibiotics and feeling much better, but still very far from feeling like myself. Mostly depressed, lathargic, stiff and unenergetic. I've read that some people say 3 days, some say 2 months, some say up to 9 months. Does anyone have any answers? When will I feel like me again?

What do you do when the quad screen comes out postive but the sonogram shows nothing?

I had the quad screen done and I tested 1 out of 166 for my baby to have downs syndrom. I went and got the sonogram done and that showed everything looks perfect. (size,weight,bones, heart chambers etc.) The doctor said this test was 80% accurate. The dr. said its up to me if I wanted an amnio. Does this mean my baby has it ? The % of miscarrage is high. i'm 13 and recently lost 53 pounds, in less then i year ( had to lose for medical reasons, was borderline obese), anyway i know that i lost weight to fast, but my weight was never dangerously low and i eat lots of protein, take vitamins and don't use Straighteners or lots of products, but my hair still continues to fall out. I also take hair vitamins, i am certain my hair loss is from rapid weight loss because i have had blood test done. what can i do to get my hair thick again and can i go completely bald at 13? If my Hashimotos is under control what can cause the pain and fatigue?

I have Hashimotos, I had half of my thyroid out Feb 7, 2007. I have been getting my TSH checked and my thyroid seems to be under control. I have pain in my abdomen, my legs, my knees feel arthtritic, and my back hurts. I am also fatigued and want to sleep all the time. Im starting to get depressed, my husband dont know what to do to help me anymore. Ive been to the ER and they dont know what it is. I was on a waterpill that depleted my potium, but it is back in to normal range. They suggested a rheumatologist, but I cant get in till July 23. My neurologist is wanting to switch me from synthroid to something else. What else is there? I didnt know anything else existed. Are they better and do you think those will solve my problems? 33 weeks pregnant and feel like?

My toddler is lactose intolerance, and won't drink any thing else?

We just recently discovered that our 19 month old is lactose intolerance, and she won't drink any other forms of milk. We tried everything from soy, almond, rice, coconut, lactose free Milks. And she won't do any of them. We are worried that she's not getting the nutrients she needs. A child her age needs 500 mg of calcium, 400 iu of Vit D, half her diet needs to be good fats, and calorie intake is 1000-1500. She seems to be flourishing, however the lactose intolerance is a new situation, so I don't won't her to start being deficient. Any suggestions please.

Every once in a while, typically in the middle of a delicate conversation that I know is very important, I get an impulse to ruin the situation completely. I've been sick for almost 5 months with a "cold"..what could this be?

Okay, I have been sick for going on five months now with a could/cough. I went to the doctor when I first started showing symptoms and they said it was just a little cough and told me to gargle with salt water, so I did. The cold never went away so I started taking daytime/night-time cold meds for the drug store for about a week. That didn't seem to help either. So I bought some mucinex and it worked for about a day and then stopped working after that. Finally, I just gave up and went along with the cold for what I thought would be another week or so. Wrong. It has lasted up until now. Suddenly, yesterday I started to feel extremely sick and weak. I started having diarrhea all day and then I had a fever of a 102 last night. I have been feeling light-headed and shaky all day. My mom thinks it's just a 24 hour bug and I should just wait it out. But, with me being sick for so long, I'm worried I may have the flu or maybe even mono. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be or what I should do? Should I see the doctor tomorrow? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you

Garage Addition Cost Estimate?

We purchased our first home last June. Its almost perfect, it just really needs a garage. We would like to add on a 1 car garage in the next 5-6 years, once we save up a bit for it. Probably 12 ft w x 26 ft L, with a 4 ft w x10 ft long breezeway on a concrete slab, probably 1 medium sized vinyl window on the side, a standard vinyl garage door, and 2 doors, one to go into the garage and one to go into the front of the breezeway and one to go out the back of the breezeway. I would like it to be vinyled like the house is, standard gray vinyl siding. Nothing fancy, not heated, the breezeway not heated, just something to keep our car in and room for the lawnmower and other yard tools and some storage. Ok, to start off I'm almost 29 weeks along in my pregnancy. My best friend and I have been friends for six years. Every since I got pregnant she has been a little weird towards me. well i think it depends on your face structure like how long your face is. Another way to tell is how far your chin is from your shoulders if you want it to be short but still has that womanly look. I suggest cutting it in between the measurements from your chin to your shoulder or if you want it shorter than that you could go right below the ear. The most likely thing to do if you like long hair though is to cut it shoulder length.

I have a 91 caprice 305 tbi. The car started and ran fine the other day now it will turn over and act like it wants to start but nothing, not even with ether... I replaced dist. cap, rotor and spark control module trying to fix this! the coil is good with blue spark, then I put a screwdriver in the end of one of the plug wires and let it spark to the fram and it was yellow/orange!!! Please help i'm lost at this point.... also there is fuel coming out of the injectors which is irrelevant the fuel delivery is not the prob it won't even start with ether!?(UPDATE) i just turned the distributor c.clockwise a lil and it started and barely ran with pedal to the metal....could this be a timing chain needing replacement? also... just before the car stopped running it had a funny squealing noise that wasn't the belt!? sounded like it was maybe towards the back of the engine?...

5 Live Bears, trapped?

Alright so this weekend I was in the Gatlinburg, TN area, and I visited Pigeon Forge with my family. There is a gift shop there that houses 5 live bears in the back, in a separate room, apart from the gift shop, and people pay to see and feed them. I didn't go see them, but outside they greatly publicize this with signs and photos. They look horrible, I mean, deathly horrible. They've given them names like Mamma and Pappa and Smokey and youve got to see where they are keeping them in the cages with little life and no natural habitat (sp?). It is ridiculous, I'm not usually so drawn to these situations, but I feel the need to take action if needed. I'm 14, and I'm not sure if this is animal cruelty or not, and if it is, what can I do, and where can I find help.
